Once again I present the following for prayerful consideration.
Last year, weeks before President Obama's Cairo speech,
I felt urged within my spirit to pay close attention to the words that he would use in regards to the future of Jerusalem and the State of Israel. Since the Cairo speech I have continued to pay close attention
to the words that the President and his representatives make in regards to the peace talks, Israel, and the future of Jerusalem.
I have continued to pray for guidance and direction from the Holy
Spirit as I read Scripture and began to measure the events that surround us daily in light of what the Word of God has warned,
all the while holding close to each and every promise I have found within His Word.
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens,
and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling
unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day
will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though
all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Zechariah 12:1-3
The first time I read Zechariah chapter 12, I was immediately troubled and angered. I wondered why
I had never heard a single pastor preach on the contents of this chapter and its relevance to not only the current events
gripping the world's attention, but of events that have been taking place for the better part of twenty years now.
The first three verses of Zechariah clearly present a warning from
JEHOVAH; one that I fear is too often overlooked by the evangelical community and one that I know without a doubt does not
shape the policy of the United States of America in regards to the "peace process".
The warning is cut and dry. JEHOVAH is warning the nations of the world, "Burden yourself with
Jerusalem and you will be cut in pieces, I will cut you in pieces," thus says the LORD.
It may sound simple, but these few verses in Zechariah chapter 12 continue to be my litmus test for
evaluating the toxic steps this current US administration is taking against Jerusalem. Based on Scripture, the final outcome
is certain.
"...when the Holy Land of three great faiths is
the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims,
and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and
Mohammed (peace be upon them) joined in prayer." - BHO June 4th, 2009. Cairo Speech
Towards the end of the Cairo speech a dangerous course
became apparent. Based on the words that President Obama used, his vision for the future of Jerusalem was not in line with
the future that the Word of God clearly illustrates. Even more troubling was the fact that his vision doesn't seem to be born
out of religious conviction or emotion, but one of conquest and personal achievement. It was the vision of a rebel and not
of a humble man with respect and reverence for the will that JEHOVAH has already established for the future of Jerusalem.
With each passing day, it has become even clearer that Obama's vision for Jerusalem is one met with judgment and
not reward.
Since President Obama made his speech
in Cairo, I believe that the Holy Spirit has led me to pay specific attention to certain words that are used by this administration.
I don't know how to describe it and I know to some I will sound crazy, but as I read official statements made by the current
administration pertaining to Israel, these certain words seem to jump off the screen. As these key words, for a lack of a
better term, jump out at me, I also feel a sense of confirmation within my spirit that these words are important, though
only after continued prayer and time do these words come into better perspective.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
on Monday rejected President Barack Obama's demand for a freeze on West Bank Jewish settlement construction... 6/1/09
Settlement freeze is a good example, with "freeze" being the key word.
Last
year the big push on the PM Netanyahu led government by the Obama administration was to enact a "settlement freeze"
in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. For months, Netanyahu deflected calls to "freeze" settlements and firmly affirmed
his commitment to the continued growth of East Jerusalem, stating that East Jerusalem was off limits to any such freeze. But
after months of increased tension and unrelenting pressure, thanks to the Obama administration, Netanyahu conceded in late
November.
On November 25, Netanyahu announced
that after much discussion with the Obama administration, a 10-month moratorium would be enacted in the West Bank under the
guise of "a confidence building measure" by his administration for the renewal of peace talks with the Palestinians.
Netanyahu's stance on a freeze in East Jerusalem remained solid.
Above is a very interesting 4-month radar loop,
December 1, 2009 - March 27, 2010. Watch as 20+ storms seem to slam into Washington D.C. and the surrounding area shortly
after PM Benjamin Netanyahu announced on November 25, 2009, a 10-month settlement freeze in the West Bank after
months of unrelenting pressure from the Obama administration. It looks like the breath of JEHOVAH is blowing across the land.
The key word "freeze"
became apparent in the days, weeks, and months that followed here in the United States and even in many of the other nations
that rallied behind the Obama administration to see a "freeze" enacted on the Israeli "settlements".
Many cities in various parts of the US and especially along the
East Coast saw some of their worst winter weather ever recorded or at the minimum in decades. Many states had multiple sites
break snowfall records, with Oklahoma even documenting its first blizzard and shattered its previous single day snowfall record
at Will Rogers Airport. Washington D.C. was even shut down for several days because multiple storms buried the city in frosty
judgment, even label snowpocalypse. At one point, 49 of the 50 states in the USA all had snow, with Hawaii being the only holdout.
It was then that the correlation between a demand for
a "settlement freeze" and the awesome winter weather that resulted after the "settlement freeze" announcement
on November 25th, that I began to pay even closer attention to the words that the Obama administration began to use as their
push for proximity talks between Israel and the Palestinians moved into 2010.
Time and again the key words seemed to be associated with geology and meteorology. These words are
continuously used by the Obama administration to describe the various steps they believe are needed for the resumption of
Israeli and Palestinian peace talks and are often used as analogies to describe the condition of the alliance between Israel
and the USA when talking to the public.
Here
are a list of some of the words that jumped out at me and I will attempt to draw some connections to some of the words and
events that have since transpired, though I do feel that some of these words are pointing to further judgments still upon
the horizon.
l Freeze (I already went into this word, but I don't believe that it is simply limited
to bad winter weather. No one cannot limit JEHOVAH, nor can any one limit His judgments, we are merely capable of
observing and understand the layers the Holy Spirit reveals. So I believe that just as much as the wild winter weather is
connected to the "settlement freeze" demand, I also believe that there are many more levels or layers connected
to the word "freeze" that I have yet to see or understand. Freeze in economic growth, freeze in building starts,
Freeze in hiring, are just a couple more possible freezes that seem to fit also.)
l Core l Rock Solid (or solid as a rock) l Unshakable (or unmovable) l Undermine l Atmosphere (often
used with the word conducive) l Climate l Environment l 30,000 foot level l Wedge
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Defense
Robert Gates, State Department spokesman Phillip Crowley, and Vice President Joe Biden are just a few representatives of the
Obama administration who have repeatedly used some of these geo and meteorological terms. Obama has also used some of these
words and seems to be the influence behind such terms being used.
"Again, all I will say is that Jerusalem is
a - is one of the core issues in the process. And the only way to resolve issues regarding Jerusalem is through direct negotiations." Philip
Crowley 4/8/10
Core is one such geo-related term and is a word that the
Obama administration uses to describe Jerusalem, often stating that Jerusalem is a "core" issue. Many times the
Obama administration, through various officials, has reassured the Palestinians and International community that the future
of Jerusalem should not be set in stone by any party, but should be decided in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
The Obama administration has never been shy to remind Netanyahu of this fact, this is one of, if not the biggest, reasons
behind Obama's push to freeze Jewish growth in East Jerusalem. It is because of this stance that tensions between Washington
and Israel reached an all time high proceeding the announcement of the 1,600 housing units in Ramat Shlomo back in March during
a visit by VP Biden, as the Palestinians (and the Obama admin) see any development in East Jerusalem by the Jewish authority
as an impediment to the future plans of East Jerusalem as the capital to the Palestinian State.
Core is also part of the word for Corexit 9500, the highly toxic dispersant that is being currently
used by BP in the Gulf. It is said that over 1.5 million gallons of the dispersant has been used so far and will continue
to be used. Don't know if there is a connection, but Corexit could be setting the stage for the larger judgments on the way.
The word core also flashes images of the inner workings
of the Earth, the kind that result in volcanic activity. Iceland's recent volcanic activity interrupted travel, commerce,
and blew a hot wind on an already shaky global economic recovery. During the April 14-19 timeframe, European air space was
shut down because of the large amounts of ash from the Iceland volcano. Over 100,000 flights cancelled with some estimating
that over $1.7 billion in damages resulted in lost revenue across multiple industries. The volcanic ash spread over much of
Europe during Europe's Holocaust Remembrance Week (April 11-18).
Core also seems to be connected to the April 20th Deepwater Horizon accident that resulted in the still on
going oil deluge. Oil is a by-product of pressure and heat. The core of the earth I would believe has some effect on the heat
that is a contributing factor at some point in the process. (This may be a loose connection, though the Corexit does seem
a bit firmer.)
I am certain that we have not seen the end of the "core" related events. I fully anticipate
such activity will continue to increase as the nations of the world continue to ramp up pressure upon Israel to divide Jerusalem.
This assessment is Biblically support by the plethora of scripture that points to the increased geo-related events of the
end-times that we are currently in.
Regardless,
Jerusalem will be at the core of what happens from here on out and as far as I am concerned, could very well be the center
of the Universe.
